Pt. 47

The love of Christ endures to the end. Humility of Christ is the willing descent of one who knows who He is. The example of Christ defines the shape of discipleship.

Christ washing the feet of His disciples (including the one He knew was to betray Him) showed a God-glorifying humility. He took the posture of a slave, descended into a broken world, to wash the feet of His enemies whom He traded His cleanness and purity for their sins and mire.

Are you committed to your church, wherever it be?

Are you consistently in God's word?

Are you spending regular time in prayer with God?

Do you have a place in the Body of Christ where you serve where no one sees, not for gain but Christ's glory?
