Where are you tempted to measure God's love by your circumstances, rather than by the cross?

Do you cling to lesser gifts and comforts, or trust in His greater glory?

Do you truly believe Jesus is the Resurrection, and the Life? And that He can resurrect YOU?

Death cannot stand in His way. Apart from Christ, pain can only crush us-- but in Christ, we can see the purposes of the God who helps. The cross gives our trials meaning, and the glory of Christ is revealed in our suffering. It is through our suffering that Christ does His deepest work in us, and He meets us in our greatest loss.
