Having been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, and on the profession of our faith, having been baptized, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, we do now, most solemnly and joyfully enter into commitment with one another, as one body in Christ.

We will walk together in Christian love as we exercise an affectionate care and watchfulness over each other and faithfully admonish and entreat one another to love and good deeds as occasion may require.
John 13:34; Galatians 6:1; Hebrews 3:13

We will work and pray for the unity of the Spirit and the bond of peace as we seek to be ready, at all times, for reconciliation.
 Ephesians 4:3; Matthew 5:9; Colossians 3:13

We will strive together for the advancement of this church as we sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline, and doctrines; and contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations.
 2 Corinthians 9:6-7; Hebrews 13:15; Matthew 28:19-20

We will maintain family and personal devotion as we disciple our children and seek the salvation of our family, friends and neighbors.
 Deuteronomy 6:6-7; Matthew 5:16

We will walk prudently in the world, be just in our dealings, faithful in our engagements, and exemplary in our conduct as we deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, remembering that there is now a special obligation and enabling in Christ to lead a new and holy life.
 Ephesians 5:15; Titus 2:12; 1 Peter 1:15

We will avoid all gossip, backbiting, and excessive anger, and be zealous in our efforts to advance the Kingdom of our Savior.
 Ephesians 4:31; James 1:19-20

We will watch over one another in Christian love as we remember each other in prayer, aid each other in sickness and distress and endeavor, with sympathy and tenderness, to bear each other’s burdens and sorrows.
 James 5:16; Galatians 6:2; Romans 12:15

We will not forsake the assembling of ourselves together and moreover; when we move from this place, as soon as possible, unite with some other church where we can carry out the spirit of this commitment and principles of God’s Word.
 Hebrews 10:25; Acts 2:42

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all. Amen.
